Emily came to visit all of us here in the desert and Brittyn happened to turn one while they were here, so I say that is a pretty darn good reason to throw a party!
I started growing this grass 3 weeks before the party and it ended up SOOO perfect. Exactly what I had in my little head. And these chalkboard banners I have already reused like 29 billion times. Perfect I tell ya.
Can you tell I'm into cutting my veggies like this (ie super bowl party:)?! So pretty and great finger food.

Birthday girl!! Who by the way DEVOURED this cake! Don't ask why in the world I made a smash cake so dog gone big!!
I loved this picture. Like frame it in my heart love. I love that you wouldn't know who the mother is of the birthday girl because each of us love her so much. OK, I think you can tell Emily is the proud mama, but seriously I love that this is part of our family now.
