Mel was in town this weekend and it was so fun to explore Philly a bit! Some of us girls went to the Liberty Bell, did you know the base of the bell is only 12 ft in diameter. It was much smaller than I was anticipating but none the less super exciting.
We went to Congress Hall this is where they decided, among other things, what to call the leader of our country.
Then we got to go into a part of Independence Hall and saw facsimiles of The Constitution and The Declaration of Independence. Before we took off we visited Ben Franklin's grave site. Oh and we stood where Abraham Lincoln stood...wow...I love famous people:)
