My family came to visit this past week and needless to say I am EXHAUSTED! My mom kept us going day and night, but it was so much fun! For the 4th we braved the Philadelphia traffic and went downtown to celebrate! We went to the Sheryl Crow concert and watched the amazing production of fireworks.
We explored Philly for a day. Went to Betsy Ross' home, Independence hall, liberty bell, ate the most amazing smoothie ever and got to visit the US Mint.
My parents celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary and Cara turned 19!
After all that fun we decided to head to DC Kylie packed herself. Pretty freaking cute.
We got to go up the Washington monument, see the white house and the WWII wall. Our hotel was awesome and it was in the middle of everything! Oh, and the french toast was scrumptious!
After the Lincoln monument we went to Georgetown.
Yesterday we drove out to Gettysburg. There is so much history there and it literally gets brought to life when you are there and can see where the battles happened and read and hear stories of those who fought.
