I dont sew but...

I do sew when and only when I really, really want/need something. Is anyone else ever frustrated come swim suit shopping time that there are NO one pieces that fit? I don't think I have ever. Ever. ever been able to find a nicely fitting one piece. You want to be modest but then again you don't want to look like you are 12. Ya know? Ok then. So at Last Chance I found this Juicy Couture Suit for twenty buckaroos. I know, I know you ALL want to come visit now and find suits. Well fine then, COME visit already!!!  Back to the story: fell in love (with the $20 Juicy suit. Who wouldn't?). Then realized it was a few sizes to large. But I made the purchase anyways:) I really didn't think I would have the guts to cut into a suit that retails for nearly $200. Then again, I yes I do. So with a few snips and new seams I added thicker straps and I have never had a suit fit so nicely. Ever.
