So I got this super fun idea from Lorri Thomas, a family friend. And we decided to give it a try! I collected 12 different kinds of Root Beer (Lorri collected 21 kinds!!) Here is my list:

I took all the chilled root beer in my bedroom, on the desk, so no one could see what I was pouring and I came out with 12 little cups for each person and everyone tested, sipped away and took notes trying to figure out what they enjoyed. The results were kind of surprising because usually I am inclined to buy Barqs and that was by far the least favorite of all! But what was even more surprising was the winner: Root Beer (wal-mart brand)! Maybe it's our "poor medical school" taste buds but at the moment that's what it is. Good thing because that's about all we can afford:) Although Conrad stays true to his H. Weinhardts as his favorite. Some honorable mentions were A&W and Hansen... I could. not. believe the differences in all the brands! Wow. Super fun night and wow if you are thirsty stop by The Hilton's because we have quite the stash!
