Each month we get together with our friends, the Hansens, to celebrate the things we are learning about in history (Well Educated Heart). This month we met in a local Teepee and the kids got to share a quick fact or story they enjoyed learning this month. It was really neat to be in this fun space.
Conrad taught the kids CPR and a laparotomy with a small bowel resection:)
Reese and Nixon used their own money to buy Harry Potter quills.
We got to ski 3 times this week. Nixon is doing so well with his jumps. Kylie is so fast. Reese is doing her box jumps so well and Crew is a machine, he wants to go, go, go! Elle is working on her turns and even tried going backwards this week!
We melted crayons and Nixon was really loving this craft/ science experiment:)
Crew was working on his patterns this month. Today he did flip, clap, clap, clap, flip, clap, clap, clap. There is pattern in EVERYTHING. We had to get creative to get away from the expectation of candy patterns:)
We brought some snow in one day so they could play in it while I baked our favorite Amish oatmeal from Mels kitchen cafe.

We finally made it to the library this week, We have been buying most of our books via amazon but it sure is nice to get back to the town library, my kids love it there. The staff is so kind and gave us so many fun ideas and crafts to take home for the kids.
I took 8 kids skiing by myself:) I was feeling Vvv proud of myself LOL
The first run Elle cried the whole time saying "I want a hot dog!" Hahaha
Nixon is loving this electrical set. He did the first 15 projects and now he is inventing his own.
They all seem to gather when it comes out.
I haven't been feeling 100% since COVID. I have been working on getting my gut healthy and working out. The first day, Elle cried the full 30 min and the second day the kids decide to stand right here for my workout :) HA
Dentist time. The kids did so well.
Healthy gut, homemade sauerkraut. 2 ingredients, cabbage and salt. So easy and fun to make.
