OK, lets take a little time out from the "Newport" posts (but not really because this pict is from Newport) But the story isn't...ok? ok. Soooo let me fill you in on who you are looking at... The new President of the Emergency Medicine Club (ER Club)! Hip Hip Hooray!!! I am so extremely happy for Conrad! It may make things a little more humm... shall we say exciting?! for next year but I'm so proud of him and this is really something he has wanted to do ever since deciding to go to med school. And how great is it when we dream something up in our little heads and it actually comes to fruition! Answer: way exciting!

Family

Don't let all the fun talk fool you, Jamie's favorite part of the trip was the corn dogs. I never thought someone could be so excited about corn dogs every single day.  The girls had a blast and Tiny learned allot of new words. Our favorite is how she yells Ky-yee and motions with her chunky little hand for Ky to come over. Kylie has always been a beach girl and despite cool temps we couldn't keep her dry. It went way too fast.

In the mornings we would go for a run to Newport Pier. At the Pier we would sprint to the end and watch the fishermen. One day we saw at least a hundred dolphins in a feeding frenzy! One man said in all his years he had never seen this many dolphins before! So we ran home and walked back with our families, the dolphins were still there! Another day at the beach a seal popped his little head up pretty close to the beach so we stared running beside it. At one point we were about 10 ft from the seal!! It was SO amazing!!! One thing Conrad wanted to do is go boogie boarding so Conrad dusted off his sales skills and talked a surf shop into selling us one of their old boards. The guys has a blast on it! Every night we would lite up the fire or play games. One of my favorite treats is where you hollow out a banana and stick peanut butter M&M's in the center and put it in the fire. Yummers!! And don't worry us girls managed to catch The Bachelor;)

Spring break 2011

Spending the past week in Newport was so dang fun we loved every minute! As soon as we pulled up to the beautiful beach house and before Kylie could squeeze into her swim suit we literally ran into the ocean! Kylie was so excited to play in the waves and she did just that in her jammies! But hey we are on vaca! Anything goes!! She watched a movie before bed every night and even had oreos for a bedtime snack:)
