SEEL School

Seel School a few weeks ago went a little something like this:

 

 Yummy!

 I remember drawing myself in 4th grade and I loved it! The girls had a great time doing this art activity.

 I have NO idea why they are all under the table, but I'm sure it was for some sort of educational purpose;)

So did you know you can stick a sharp stick through a balloon? The kids ate this up (I swear! The picture is when the newness died off:)

 But it was so cool with had to do it again,

 And again, and even again when dad got home!

 Reading time with dad is the BEST!

 I love how Kylie writes her name:) It totally reminds me of my mom. She always manages to sneak a heart in her name:)

SEEL School

SEEL school is still going strong over here in the desert. I tell ya what our little guy loves it just as much as the girls.

 We did the letter M. Our theme was all things M&M's.

Sorting colors:

 Of course a science experiment! If you put an M&M or skittle (like we did) in warm water for about a 60 seconds, the S comes off and floats to the top!

 Patterns:

 We added a station in our letter draw.

 And man alive do they ever love Music Makers.

 Reese is doing so so so well with her letters and sounds and even writing! Go Reese!!

Joy School Graduation!

Kylie is an official graduate of Joy School! We are so proud of her and so thankful for the wonderful friends that were made and blessed with the creative moms that helped teach Kylie.

joy and school

I made this tent for a part of Kylie's party (I will post picts this next week!!!) eeek!!! The girls have slept and played in it all week. So fun.

My friends mom Nancy gave me the idea to make stilts as a game at the party so we tried them out on the Joy kids this week. They picked it up SO fast and loved it!

At Joy School, the letter was R. Are we really on R all ready?! Wow 18 weeks has flown by. So we had a special guest, Reese. Get it? "R"eese. We practiced writing our letters capital and lower case, of course. We also made some fun rainbow necklaces out of fruit loops. We don't have any fun... can you tell?

Today we talked about the letter M. We painted with marshmallows and followed a recipe and made our own snacks.

We sure missed little Miss A, L and M!!!
