Nixon's Birthday

And then Nixon’s birthday came along and I barley did a thing- other than the cake he wanted. But look at  his smile!! I don’t think he minded a bit. He is such a great kid. We seriously can't get enough of him and his personality.

Birthday!

The last time I threw a surprise party was for my BFFs 16th birthday, so I gave it another go for sweet Kylie. For her 9th birthday we sure surprised her! I seriously told myself “Okay the kids don’t need a party EVERY year" and then the day before I was like “Why not?! YOLO!” So I called up Kys BFFS and got the party started!

Valentines

For Valentines (yes, 6 months ago!!) Forgive me but I rarely take pictures on my big camera anymore because its so much to lug around! And consequently I never download my pictures, until now, so yes, Valentines we made robots. I tried to do a few cute crafts before the big day and this one was a hit! Not only was it candy but they loved playing with these cute little robots.

Summer Projects

We have been writing letters to Pen Pals like crazy around here! It's been great for the summer. Kylie also finished that Costco Math booklet this summer, it was a great refresher. I think we will do it every summer.

Every Thursday we had craft day this summer. A few weeks ago we made American Girl Doll beds. The girls picked out their fabric and ironed and helped sew some bedding!

Snippets

Our 1st Family Night in Michigan. We had s'mores and wrote our summer goals. One of Reese's goals was to learn to swim this summer. One of Kylie's goals was to read a book and watch the movie after. One of Nixon's goals was to get potty trained. They are all accomplished except Nixon:) Good luck buddy!

Conrad's first day of his intern year of residency!

 Pen pal letters!

Painting rocks. We didn't have river rocks in Arizona so we took full advantage of these little puppies when we found them!
