Science Experiment Play date

So the other day Conrad and I set up a science experiment play date for Kylie and some friends.
The first experiment we did was make balloon rockets. Conrad even set it up tournament style.

This one was so easy, we just put Ivory soap in the microwave for 2 min and the LOVED it. Check these pictures out!!! Haha

This next one was cute. We just put vinegar in a water bottle and put baking soda in a balloon and secure the balloon over the water bottle and lift up the balloon up so the baking soda pours into the bottle. The balloon will blow up by its self!

THIS was a hit! I think it was so successful because Conrad came up with the idea to hot glue the Mentos together. You drop the Mentos into the Coke and watch it explode!
Look at their faces!!!

Sock bubbles turned into a bubble fight. Perfect for a hot day!

We ended with dry ice and bubbles. When you put dry ice in water with dish soap the bubbles fill up with the dry ice air so when it pops its pretty fun to see.

I love how memorized they were with this one.

These were all super simple experiments and required such little prep but the results were a bunch of really happy kids. And that's exactly what these 2 parents LOVE!
