Homeschool Feb week 3

This was one of those weeks that was more play heavy than school heavy;) We had our friends from Detroit for the week and they love the mountains as much as we do. So needless to say there were lots of ski days.

We made sushi with the kids for Valentines.

And played minute to win it games.

Cake making.

Nixon helped Crew and Elle plant potatoes to get ready for spring.

Elle is doing so well on skis. She named her feet "mommy foot and Baby foot" So when we want her to turn we tell her to lean on the respectful foot:)

Before a ski day we built a fort and ate seaweed letters.

Then took our playdate to the mountain.

The Morris girls came over and taught our girls how to knit hats.

Reese's hat turned out so dang cute! Kylie's did too but its a gift for someone who might actually read this blog;) (hint, hint baby Jack)

Friday Kurt brought his sweet family up to ski. Quincy stayed the mountain with me.

We ended the week with a date night with our inspirational friends.

Saturday we watched the Friend to Friend event and the kids loved drawing and the videos.

And we finished our week with a fun sledding session with some friends from the valley. God has blessed our family with knowing some pretty amazing people.

 

Homeschool Feb week 2

WOW! This week has been one for the books. Chuck full of all the good things in life. We got to be reconnected with med school friends.

Jenny and Skylar came and stayed with us for a few days. We XC skied, ice hockey, and skied.

Cara, Jeff and the twins came and we got to teach the twins to ski. They were in their element and I loved that my kiddos got to be able to teach their cousins.

We got to go to an amazing Valentine's party. Kylie hand painted these and made the yummiest caramels.

Reese made these do-it-yourself candles. Darling.

Nixon and I made little bread loaves.

Mandy had such fun games for the kids to play.

These are some pretty amazing humans here in this home.

Friday we got to drive down to Ogden early and serve in the local Catholic food bank. Chuck and Ann were so impressed with what hard workers our kids are.

We ended with some Waffle Love.
