July and August- SO much!!

Ky and Ree went to the BYU volleyball camp with Ava and Pais. They had a blast living the student life for a week.

Boating, always boating:)

My big bro turned 40 and Jen threw an EPIC party.

Playing at the beach with friends.

Reese and I took the twins on a date. We did floral design at the park.
Elle turned THREE. Elle is darling. Like BYOND darling. She lovessss babies, animals, playing dolls, playing kitchen, copying Crew, all of her siblings, curry, treats, baking, painting, reading!!!, snow skiing and her nursery leader.

We had a little pony come to celebrate Miss Elle.
Cara had THE most perfect little baby Layla. Cara is one amazing human and an even better mother.
Kelsey and her awesome family came up to boat.

Some of our besties from Michigan came to visit us and we LOVED each and every moment.
Provo, UT
Fish Kiss
Causey Reservoir. Cliff jumping and paddle boarding.

We had Shabbat and ate some amazing food Michelle and Syd cooked for us.
Then we went on a night hike that will not soon be forgotten.

SUMMER 2021

Our favorite snow cone shop is located in the middle of an apple orchard. Its just one more dreamy stopping our Summer.

I snuck Conrad away for Father's Day to Sun Valley.
We met THE sweetest couple who had THE most incredible restaurant. Their 9 year old son makes the pasta and they buy it from him.
We always have to fit in at least 1 sufferfest hike:)

Kylie and Reese hosted an incredible tea party. They made the tiniest cakes and cookies and yummy sandwiches. They are little party planners at heart.

Kels ran a marathon, she is such an inspiration.

We hosted a Texas party for our love of that great state:) And our favorite Texans joined us!
2nd annual Mimi and Montana Camp went great! It really is so fun to get to know our nieces and nephews a little better each year. They are such amazing humans.
I'm always surprised their parents send them back to us each year:) LOL

1st Backpacking trip with our family of SEVEN

Conrad planned for our family to hike into White Pine Lake in Northern UT. 4 miles in, 4 out with the last mile being fairly difficult. It was a stunningly beautiful hike and camping spot. The kids did amazing, honestly I complained the most with my pack not fitting quite right LOL. Sweet Conrad ended up carrying my pack AND his! Superman. Reese was in charge of the food but Conrad forgot to grab it from the fridge so we stoped a Chick-Fil-A and hiked with a backpack full of chicken sandwiches haha! It ended up being the perfect meal- besides the weight of carrying them up:) Elle trail ran 2 miles straight. We were all very impressed. The older kids kind of took off ahead of us, they are truly amazing little hikers. Kylie and Reese set up their tent faster than Conrad and I could! Crew and Nixon loved going down to the clear lake and playing on the shore. I woke up for an early morning jog around the North end of the lake. I loved running through the meadow at the base of the towering mountain. Conrad planned, bought, prepared SO well. He is an expert family backpacking planner. We had everything we needed and our packs were reasonably loaded. He made this a wonderful experience for us all.

This was the perfect beginning backpack trip hike for our family. This will definitely be more in our future!
